A word from the Director

Word of Life School of Ministry is a vital part of the vision that God has given Word of Life Christian Center to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth setting man free. Romans 10:13-15 reads, “Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, ‘how beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings of good things.’” And Isaiah 40:6,9, “A voice says, ‘Call out!’ Then I said, ‘What shall I call out?’…’Get yourself up on a high mountain, O Zion, bearer of Good News, lift up your voice mightily…lift it up and do not fear. Say to the cities…‘Here is your God!’”

The faculty includes gifted apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists, and teachers from a variety of ministries in the USA from the east coast to the west coast, and the north to the south, and internationally. Word of Life School of Ministry works in unity and cooperation with local churches in many ways; one of which is insuring that practicum and field experiences take place within the student’s local church. The school functions under the direction and authority of Word of Life Christian Center with Pastor David Carey as the overseeing apostle.

We encourage men and women of the Word to be doers of the Word and, “Study to show yourselves approved unto God as workmen who do not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.” II Timothy 2:15.

Purpose of the Institution

Word of Life School of Ministry is a post-secondary Spirit-filled Bible institute committed to be led by the Holy Spirit and to glorify God and His Son, Jesus Christ, in all of its programs and activities. Our mission is to 1) instruct each student toward spiritual growth and maturity, and a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ; 2) teach the Word of God so that it becomes a personal reality within each student who is then able to impart it to others with anointing and authority; and 3) provide leadership training and preparation for ministry.

Philosophy of the Institution

Word of Life School of Ministry is committed to an educational philosophy that expresses its Christian Spirit-filled background in an atmosphere of academic excellence. Our two-year program has been established to teach subjects that are not considered secular, to equip individuals from all walks of life to effectively minister the Gospel, and to bring awareness and training pertaining to the new apostolic reformation.
