BIB 101

Old Testament Survey (2) A bird’s-eye-view of the Old Testament
BIB 201

New Testament Survey (2) A bird’s-eye-view of the New Testament: historical backgrounds; the gospels; the early church; the epistles and Revelation.

BIB 202

The Book of Acts (1) A study of the entire book including the operation of the early church, and some individual ministries.

BIB 205

Joshua (3) An in depth study of the book of Joshua, his character, prophetical nature, conquests and defeats.

BIB 301

Hebrew (1) An in depth study of the epistle to the Hebrews, which gives great insight to comparisons of the old and new covenants, the High-Priest, and Jews.
BIB 303

Romans (2) An in depth study of the theology of the Apostle Paul concerning sin, justification and the sanctifying work of the Cross in the life of the believer. Special emphasis given on how the power of sin is broken in the Christian’s life.

BIB 305

Isaiah (3) This course is designed as an in depth chapter by chapter analysis of the book of Isaiah, focusing on God’s systematic revelation of His character and grand plan of human redemption through the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
BIB 308 Pauline Epistles (3) an examination of the major themes in the writings of Paul.  Topics include understanding the person and work of Christ, the Jewish Law, the spirit, the Christian life, eschatology, and Paul’s apostleship.
   

 

 
 

THE 101

Foundations of Faith (1)  This course is extremely important for understanding the operation of faith and how faith works for the believer.
THE 102 New Creation Realities (1)  A study of what it means to be a new creature in Christ Jesus.  Subject includes substitution and identification with Jesus, the integrity of the Word, the present day ministry of Jesus, and the fruits of righteousness.

THE 103

Divine Health & Healing (2)  The principles of physical healing such as God’s will for health and healing, the origin of sickness, healing and the atonement, stumbling block scriptures, why Christians are sick, and reasons for failure to receive healing.
THE 204

Basic Bible Doctrines (1) Course covers Bible doctrines and church ordinances.

THE 205

Minor Prophets (1) A study of the ministries of the Old Testament minor prophets
THE 301

Atonement (2) A thorough study of the doctrine of Atonement.

THE 302

Church History (2) A study if the church from Pentecost to the present with emphasis toward examining the continuance of the gifts and power of the Spirit throughout this time period. Many lessons will be learned from the past, which can be applied to the present.

The Name of Jesus (1) The subject covers how Jesus received His name, what it means, and the authority that is in the wonderful name of Jesus.

CHR 201

The Life of Christ (2) The account of Christ’s life, death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and ministry.

CHR 202

The Character of God (3) The nature and character of God revealed through the Word. Course includes the study of His names.
   
   

 

PNT 101

Effective Prayer (2) An in depth study of prayer and it’s various types.

PNT 102

The Holy Spirit and His Gifts (2) The person of the Holy Spirit, His functions, and the gifts of the Spirit.

PNT 301

The Gift of Prophecy (2) Course covers insights on the prophetic ministry, the gift of prophecy and the office of the prophet and their use in the body of Christ.

PNT 302

Prophetic Ministry Training - Prophetic ministry training and activation module.

PNT 303

Apostles and Prophets in the Church Today (2) This class will study the ministry of the apostle and prophet as they function in the early church, the cause of their virtual disappearance, the scriptural grounds for their continuation, the history of their restoration, and their function in the church today. (Must have taken prerequisite, PNT 301 The Gift of Prophecy or instructor’s approval).

PNT 400

Teaming Apostles and Prophets (2) Identifying the purpose and necessity of apostle and prophet teams and how they function together. Includes the character and scope of apostles and prophets.

PNT 401

Dynamics of Apostolic Teams (2) This class gives an understanding of how apostolic teams are developed and used.

PNT 402

Spiritual Warfare (2) A study of the biblical basis for spiritual warfare methods and strategic level warfare. This course will bring an understanding to the believer’s responsibility and role in the battle with the enemy.
   
   

 

MIN 202

Practical Ministry (3) The ministry defined, supportive ministries, finding your place in ministry, staff relationships, church government and discipline, the anointing, etc. Course includes one hour of practicum.

MIN 204

Student Chapel (1) These student-led chapel services provide a wide variety of experiences such as worship, opportunity to minister the Word and operate in the gifts of the Spirit.

MIN 301

Evangelism (3) This course examines the scriptural basis for evangelism, including children’s evangelism, in light of contemporary situations and the calling, responsibilities, and relationships of the evangelists to the local church. One contact hour evangelism practicum is requires for the duration of the course.

MIN 302

Leadership (1) A study of the character of a leader as well as the requirements of leadership.

MIN 303

Missionary Principles and Practices (3) One contact hour in class to study the call, qualifications, and preparation to the missionary field. Additional hours of field experience required.

MIN 304

Holding Forth the Word of Life (2) A class covering the preparation and delivery of biblical teachings.

MIN 306

Church Administration (3) Basic principles and guidelines in the area of church administration, including goal-oriented administration, how a minister performs administrative functions, church policies, budget preparation, facilities management, incorporation, by-laws preparations; 501(c)(3) information, pastoral tax laws, etc.

MIN 307

Deliverance (2)  The practical and basic issues pertaining to deliverance.

MIN 308

Women in Ministry (2) Biblical teaching on the theology of women in ministry

MIN 400

Church Planting (2) The purpose and the how-to’s of planting a new church, i.e., leadership selection, site selection, church growth, reaching the unchurched, demographic analysis, planning, ministries, etc. An advanced study course to prepare individuals selected to plant a new work. Director’s approval required.

   
   

 

COU 102

Biblical Counseling (3) An introduction to basic concepts and procedures of biblical counseling to the counseling process. This will enable the student to integrate biblical concepts with psychological principles in order to provide a holistic approach.

COU 202

Substance Abuse: Assessment, Diagnosis and Treatment (3) Students will be given an overview of psychoactive drugs and the physiological effects on the body. Primary focus will be on acquainting the student with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of the chemically dependent client.

COU 236

Marriage Counseling (3) Subject addresses the Christian family in all aspects.

More Than Just a Song (1) An introductory overview of worship in Church today.

WOR 102

Expressions of Worship (1) The effective use of song, instrumental music, special music, banners, and dance.

WOR 201

God’s Worshipper, David I (1) A study of David’s tabernacle and his heart to worship.

WOR 203

Worship in Spirit and Truth (2) The true meaning of worship and the impact of the Holy Spirit on worship (i.e., anointing, healing in worship).

WOR 304

The Worship Leader (2) Responsibilities as a leader in both spiritual and practical matters as pertains to him/herself and the worship team. Includes program preparation.

WOR 305

Practical Worship Ministry (2) Resources, library, licensing, and copyright, sound reinforcement, overheads. Two hours of field experience required.
